The flora agaricina neerlandica is a critical flora, which covers the agarics and boleti occurring in the Netherlands and adjacent regions. It provides identification keys, extensive descriptions and illustrations of all taxa. In addition data on ecology and distribution patters are included. The flora is essentially based upon own observations of the authors on fresh material and herbarium specimens collected by Dutch mycologists over more than 50 years.

In 2005 six volumes will be realized:

Vol. 1. 1988 (Entolomataceae).
Vol. 2. 1990 (Pleurotaceae, Pluteaceae and Tricholomataceae I
Vol. 3. 1995 (Tricholomataceae II)
Vol. 4. 1999 (Strophariaceae, and Tricholomataceae III).
Vol. 5. 2001 (Agaricaceae)
Vol. 6. May 2005. Bolbitiaceae (Bolbitius, Conocybe, Pholiotina, Agrocybe) and Coprinaeae (I): the genus Coprinus. (Authors: E.Arnolds,C.Uljé and M.Nauta)

On Boletales, Russulales and Amanita

The final volumes will be dedicated to the large family Cortinariaceae (2 volumes) and the remaining Tricholomataceae and Coprinaceae
