After more than 12 years since the publication of the European Entoloma Monograph in Fungi Europaei, vol. 5, a supplement appeared to be nescessary. Since 1992 the number of species increased with about 100 taxa, part of them being published in various journal, others still hiding in manuscript. The present work now includes 342 taxa. New keys have been constructed, and full descriptions and line drawings are given of about 100 new taxa.

The book is illustrated with a large number of high quality photographs.
