Subgenus Alboleptonia

Alboleptonia stand for "white Leptonia". It is a group of small species with predominantly white colours, although yellowish and pink taxa are included as well. The pileus is felted to distinctly squamulose with a trichodermal pileipellis without or with pale intracellular pigment. Clamps may be present or not

Section Alboleptonia

Fruitbodies white or pale yellow; with clamp-connections.

Species: E. sericellum (Fr.: Fr.) Kumm.; E. olorinum (Romagn. & Favre) Noordel.; E. percandidum Noordel.

Section Cephalotricha

Frtuibodies purely white, peilus and stipe with capitate hairs; without clamps.

Species: Entoloma cephalotrichum (Orton) Noordel.
